The app is designed so optional data stays optional. These controls are available without a sale-of-data opt-out because Family Budget Calculator does not sell personal information.

Use manual mode

You can use the core household calculators without connecting a financial institution. Add, edit, or remove manual entries directly in the app.

Bank data

Open Settings, choose the connected institution, and select Disconnect. This stops future syncing and starts the app's removal workflow for provider credentials and eligible synced data.

Optional Money Guide

The Money Guide stays off until you consent. You can withdraw consent and delete saved Money Guide history from Privacy & device settings.

Notifications and device privacy

Change notification categories in app settings and OS Settings. Face ID or Touch ID app lock is an optional local privacy convenience and does not replace account authorization.

Export or delete your account

Use Settings → Privacy & device to request a complete eligible data export or permanent account deletion. For help when you cannot access the app, email support@familycalculator.appfrom the address associated with your account.
