Agreement and eligibility
By using Family Budget Calculator, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding agreement, and use the service only for lawful personal or household purposes in the United States.
What the service is—and is not
The service organizes information and provides deterministic calculators, scenarios, and optional educational explanations. Outputs are estimates based on the data and assumptions shown. The service is not a bank, lender, broker, fiduciary, credit bureau, tax preparer, law firm, or financial adviser. It does not execute trades, approve loans, make lending decisions, or guarantee outcomes.
Your account and household
Keep your account and device secure and provide accurate information. Household members may see information shared with their role. Do not add another person's financial information without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except where prohibited by law.
Connected services
Optional features rely on Apple, Plaid, RevenueCat, financial institutions, hosting providers, and AI or notification providers. Their availability and separate terms may affect those features. We are not responsible for a third party's independent service or data.
Subscriptions
Plus subscriptions are billed by Apple at the localized price and period shown before purchase. Unless cancelled, a subscription renews automatically under Apple's terms. Trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Manage or cancel billing in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app or your Family Budget Calculator account does not cancel Apple billing.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security controls, scrape or overload systems, reverse engineer where prohibited, upload unlawful content, or use the service to harm another person. We may restrict access needed to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Verify important inputs and consult an appropriate professional before making material financial, legal, or tax decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages and the amount you paid for the service in the prior 12 months. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes, termination, and contact
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion in the app. We may update these terms with notice appropriate to the change. Questions can be sent to support@familycalculator.app.
